These beefy truck or trailer mud flaps are 1/2" thick and constructed of 100% recycled rubber. They are flexible and forgiving so - unlike polymer (hard plastic) flaps - they won't break if they hit something on the road. The durable rubber can also withstand subfreezing temperatures, so these flaps won't get brittle when the rain turns to snow and ice.
If you're simply replacing your mud flaps and you already have mounting brackets in place, just line up the pre-drilled holes on these flaps with your mounting plate and reuse your existing hardware. If the holes don't quite line up, you can easily drill new ones.
If you're installing mud flaps for the first time, you'll need to purchase mounting plates (sold separately) and weld them onto your truck or trailer to create attachment points for the flaps. To ensure the most secure attachment, add on bolt hole reinforcement plates (337MFW2375) to keep the flaps from tearing away from the mounts.

Today we'll be taking a look at the Buyers Products Sta-Put Mudflaps.Now these are going to be extra thick mudflaps, they're about a half inch think, so they're going to provide good, durable protection for your vehicle, and also it helps to give it a little bit more rigidity stay it in place and not catch the wind. If you do still want to make sure that they stay in place, you can get an anti-sail bracket, but them being so thick they're going to do a pretty good job of hanging in place as they should. That being said, they're going to take all that impact from any road debris, rocks, bits of gravel, asphalt, things like that, and keep it from denting up your truck, and also of course keep mud to a minimum.They have a nice just plain finish made of recycled rubber material. They are made in the USA. Resist any cutting or tearing, as you can see, nice thick mudflats there. About 24 1/2 inches wide, by close to 24 inches tall.
The one I have here is closer to about 23 5/8 tall. So there's a little bit of variance there. The distance between our mounting holes up at the top, center to center those are about 7 1/4 inches apart, and those holes are about 1/4 inch in diameter.This also resists any buildup of ice or snow, so it'll work out well for the northern states. We get two mudflaps to go on either side of our vehicle. And again, if you do want a bracket to go up at the top to provide a little more stability for those mounting holes, we also have brackets that will fit that and sort of sandwich your mud flap in between, and help keep those holes from waddling out, or ripping over a long period of time.That's going to do it for our look at the Buyers Products Sta-Put Mud Flaps..
